An Active-Vision System for Recognition of Pre-Marked Objects in Robotic Assembly Workcells

Abstract

A new 3-D object recognition method for robotic assembly workcells is presented. The proposed method is focused on two basic concepts, i.e., active vision and object preconditioning.
