Capture Considerations for Multiview Panoramic Cameras
Abstract
We describe methods, insights, and direction in a laboratory-corporate collaborative project in multiview imaging and display. With the goal of taking new immersive technologies to a growing customer base through in-situ demonstrations and experiments, we are combining novel capture and display capabilities in delivering immersive 3D entertainment experiences. We discuss adaptations and innovations needed in capturing a variety of such content for life-sized 3D presentation to large audiences.
