Communicating with Interactive Articles
Abstract
Distill articles are interactive publications and do not include traditional abstracts. This summary was written for the ML Anthology. Examines the design space of interactive articles by synthesizing research from education, journalism, and visualization. Identifies five key affordances—connecting people and data, making systems playful, prompting self-reflection, personalizing reading, and reducing cognitive load.
